Throne

You were taken from us abruptly,
But all that we can say
Is maybe God had better plans
For you on that day.
The day you left this world
To go home with Him on high,
To watch out for your loved ones
From your new home in the sky.
We love you and we miss you
Your virtuous it’s true
We must just go on
‘Til the day we join you too.
Gone from our presence,
But never from our hearts.
Laughter is the best medicine
So that is where we’ll start.
Start with all the good times
That can keep us going on
Until that joyous day
When we’re together on the Throne.
